CancerAid and MinterEllison Join Together to Support and Empower Employees and Their Families Affected by Cancer

CancerAid is proud to announce its partnership with Australia’s largest law firm MinterEllison, by supporting employees and their family members affected by cancer to thrive, providing the knowledge, tools, and support to help manage cancer care outcomes through two CancerAid programs: the CancerAid Coach Program and the CancerAid Carer’s Program.

Under the agreement, MinterEllison’s 2,500+ employees and their families will have access to both CancerAid programs. Each provides evidence-based support, delivered via award-winning technology and health coaching, along with organisational training and advice on employee communication, team relations and meaningful return to work.

Around 45% of all cancer diagnoses occur in working-age Australians and 40% will never return to work. CancerAid’s Coach Program has been designed to improve cancer care outcomes and research has demonstrated patients are 73% more likely to return to work compared to patients who did not participate in the coaching intervention.

MinterEllison CEO and Managing Partner Virginia Briggs commented: We are very proud to be working with CancerAid and our partnership will play an important role in the welfare of our employees and their families. Our goal is to support all our employees across Australia and to protect and care for them and their families during a difficult time.  Employees have commented on the value of the program, its holistic approach and the continued support MinterEllison offers to its staff impacted by cancer.”

CancerAid CEO and Co-Founder Dr Raghav Murali-Ganesh added: “We are delighted to be working with MinterEllison and supporting their staff and their family members. Our goal at CancerAid is to improve healthcare across the globe for those affected by cancer.”

“Helping to reduce the impact of cancer is at the heart of our mission as we try to improve patient health and return to work outcomes. Addressing the impact of cancer begins with our unwavering commitment to the development of innovative digitally-led therapies and approaches for patients and their families. By partnering with leading businesses such as MinterEllison we can continue to make a huge difference for employees and consequently aid in their workplace success.”
