CancerAid wins 2019 NSW Business Awards

Being awarded the 2019 State Winner for Excellence in Innovation at this year’s NSW Business Chamber Business Awards has given CancerAid one more reason to celebrate our successes so far.

For those unfamiliar with our story, last year heralded uncertain times as we made a strategic pivot in how we delivered care to our patients without compromising on our goal - to best support and empower patients to achieve their best health outcomes.

It was undoubtedly a risky move. But these risks have definitely paid off with the growth of our customer and patient base.

The award is great recognition for the work our dedicated and talented team has put in over the past year, and will grow our reputation and brand, as eloquently expressed by our Business Operations Manager, Tim Atkins:

“Awards have the capacity to raise the profile and build legitimacy of local businesses.

“Through the NSW Business Awards, businesses can leverage the recognition to grow networks and gain the trust of both consumers and businesses. The flow-on effects of a win like this can be very powerful.

“CancerAid has an important and challenging mission – to increase patient engagement and improve patient health outcomes. Winning at the state level is an amazing recognition of the progress we’ve made.”

We are grateful to the NSW Business Chamber and the Sydney of the City for their ongoing support for small businesses, such as ours. We also received a warm congratulations from Lord Mayor Clover Moore:

“It’s wonderful to celebrate business excellence and reward the passion, determination and innovation that makes them the best at what they do. Their success is sure to be an inspiration for others to follow.”

We are very excited for the doors opened up by the award and hope to use it for continuing the innovative strides we have made to deliver the best patient outcomes and care.
